Perfect for lovers, families, and friends, Love Stories of Oakland is a limited-time engagement! In celebration of Mother’s Day, enjoy more than 25 tour stops through Oakland’s Victorian garden cemetery as we recount the loves, lives, and losses of Atlantans of days past. Love Stories of Oakland also examines the symbolism of love and devotion found on monuments, headstones, and mausoleums throughout the grounds.

Light refreshments will be available at the Bell Tower, where guitarist Matthias Young will perform love songs. Matthias has been teaching professionally for over 15 years. He is the owner of the Atlanta Guitar Clinic, and teaches guitar, voice, and songwriting at Musik21 in John’s Creek. For three years in a row since 2014, he has been awarded the Best of Atlanta Award for Guitar Instructor. Since 2011, he’s taught lessons and clinics at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center and Emory Continuing Education at Emory University.
