Join one of our knowledgeable and entertaining guides for a walking tour of the grounds. Tours are offered year round.

Sights, Symbols, and Stories of Oakland: a 90-minute overview tour of Oakland Cemetery

Saturdays and Sundays: 2 p.m. only (Dec. 2, 2018 – March 10, 2019)

Saturdays and Sundays: 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. (March 17, 2018 – December 2, 2018 except as noted below)

Special Topic Tours: Every Saturday and Sunday at 6:30 p.m., learn something new about Oakland Cemetery with a rotating lineup of hourlong special topic tours. For tour topics and times, click here.

Please note tours will not be offered on the following dates:

  • May 19, 2017: (Special Event: Arts at Oakland)
  • June 9, 2017: (Special Event: Tunes from the Tombs)
  • September 30, 2017: (Special Event: Sunday in the Park)
  • October 20-21 and October 27-28 – 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. overview tours will be offered, no 4 p.m. tours. (Special Event: Capturing the Spirit of Oakland Halloween Tours)
