Volunteers Make a Difference!
Oakland's 2nd Saturday clean up projects are scheduled for the second Saturday of every month from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Volunteers assist with general landscaping duties that vary seasonally, with a focus on gardening with historic and native plants in a landscape shaped by Victorian traditions and sensibilities. Emphasis is placed on garden areas, and occasionally on basic historic preservation tasks. Volunteers (age 14 to 18 must be accompanied by an adult) will be needed!
