2026 Oakland Camps Announced

We are excited to share that our 2026 Camps are open for registration.

This year, we’re offering eight week-long Atlanta summer camps for school vacation, as well as a Winter Break Camp from February 16–20, Spring Break Camp from April 6–10, and a Fall Break Camp from October 12–16.

Our camps are designed for children ages 6–12 and are centered around a different theme each week, so kids can attend multiple sessions and enjoy a new experience each time. While Oakland’s Visitor Center and grounds serve as home base, there’s never a dull moment at Oakland camps — many activities include exploring Grant Park & surrounding neighborhoods, as well as field trips to institutions such as the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Fernbank Museum of Science, and the Delta Flight Museum!

Our 2026 camp themes explore a diverse range of themes, from “Urban Explorers,” focused on navigating Atlanta’s neighborhoods, to “Creative Canvas,” a week full of painting, drawing, mixed media, and collaborative art pieces.

Last year’s camp sessions welcomed over 140 campers to Oakland to explore the grounds and complete hands-on activities and recieved rave reviews from parents: “Our child thrived at Oakland's summer camps. The activities and learning were fun and engaging, and the weekly field trips around Atlanta were a big plus, as our child got to experience the best of Atlanta's museums and learning spaces. We'll be back!”
