Portraits in the Park Photography Workshop
Enjoy a day of nature and beauty throughout Oakland Cemetery while capturing it all with your camera. This guided photo walk with photographer and artist Anthony "Truth" Gary will help you utilize your camera to get excellent photos for practice or your portfolio.
This program is open to beginners and experienced participants. With a focus on portrait photography, participants should expect to bring their own camera equipment, while the instructor will provide supplementary equipment to capture the best material. Please bring sun protection and any food or water you will need.
Morning Session: 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Afternoon Session 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM
About the Instructor
Anthony “Truth” Gary is a highly skilled photographer who has blended his education and natural abilities to create a successful career.
He excels in both analog (film) and digital photography, showcasing his artistry on multiple platforms. His portfolio includes collaborations with The Trust for Public Land, AfroPunk, Complex Media, The Clorox Company, Hairbrella, The National Urban League, Netflix, and the Center for Civic Innovation, among many others.
