Every monument and marker at Oakland Cemetery tells a story waiting to be discovered. Students will investigate the lives of authors, journalists, and other storytellers connected to Oakland, explore how historians use primary and secondary sources to reconstruct the past, and craft their own first-person historical narrative that brings an Oakland resident's story to life.
