In honor of Veterans’ Day, Oakland is partnering with Kennesaw State University’s Museum of History and Holocaust Education for a collaborative homeschool day program that recognizes the contributions of the men and women who served in the armed forces and the lasting impact they made on our state and nation.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at Oakland Cemetery as we explore the historic and cultural contributions of Latino and Hispanic communities in Metro Atlanta.

Homeschool families are invited to join us in August as we unearth the historical foundations of early Atlanta and explore how the rapid growth of the city spurred the construction of its most historic cemetery.
